Welcome to NOCKA! North Coast Kodaly Association is a professional music education organization.

The organization is dedicated to a philosophy of music education inspired by Hungarian composer and educator Zoltán Kodály. We are an affiliate chapter of MKMEA (the Midwest Kodály Music Educators of America), as well as OAKE (the Organization of American Kodály Educators.)

NoCKA holds three workshops a year, endeavoring to improve the teaching of area teachers, and consequently, the music education of students in northeast Ohio. We provide opportunities for professional development, networking, and fellowship with other music teachers. We hope to see you at our next workshop!

If you have questions, please use our contact form.
It will be sent to our chapter president, Heather Cooper, and she will reply to you soon.

Real art is one of the most powerful forces in the rise of mankind, and he who renders it accessible
to as many people as possible is a benefactor of humanity.
